MCA Master 200GT: Can I lead teach in the US? - offshore yachts
I have my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with CYA, and certs RYA instructor, and I have my Master (yacht) 200GT (Limited). I am a Canadian citizen, and I wonder if I can offer sailing courses 4-5 weeks in the United States?

Work permit issues aside, you have to take a license from the Coast Guard of the United States, paying passengers on a boat with a motor. Http: / / www.uscg.mil / nmc / cb_capt.asp Watch standards.
